Windows, doors, winter gardens, dormer windows or carport roofs are included in the product range of a customer, who has strengthened their machine park with an SBZ 151 profile machining centre and our eluCad programming software. The product pallet encompasses various designs and features.

The SBZ 151 is a 5-axis processing centre for economical processing of aluminium, plastic and steel profiles. Two travelling tool magazines ensure short tool change times and fast machining cycles. While one tool magazine accepts the saw blade with a diameter of 400 mm or 500 mm, the other magazine has room for 20 tools.

The SBZ 151 has the option of autonomous clamp movement, so that on this machine the elusoft bar optimiser can also be used. The software module "bar optimiser" brings enormous time savings and large material savings into the production process. The bar optimiser has practically allocates a profile bar with parts which must be manufactured. During this the elusoft bar optimiser takes into account the number of chucks, which are available on the machine and works so that all parts and the remaining residual piece can be held. In addition there are as few cuts as possible made.

Basically the elusoft bar optimiser can be implemented before the eluCad programming software: As a result the bar optimiser calculates how many rods are needed for the job.
