"Sliding glass systems" is manufactured by a customer, which has already used an SBZ 130 and our software for 15 years. Now the company invested in an additional 3-axis SBZ 130 centre and our eluCad 2.0 programming software.
The simply operated sliding glass can be used in a variety of applications. They have thin, filigreed profile views and, with adjustable wing positions, offer optimum protection form wind and weather. The system can be used, for example, as an interior divider - as for between the winter garden and living room. Dividing walls in offices and the industrial area are another often used area of application. Also special solutions, as for example porter's offices, wind breaks, pool enclosures or carport glass can be implemented with the glass system.
Optimisations save time and money The EluCad programming software, which has been proven in practise, is characterised by the largest possible flexibility, user friendliness and practise-oriented functionality. eluCad optimised the programming of the target machine in many respects. The software programme determines a tool selection for processing that prevents tool exchanges when possible. Only the results of work counts, and on the way there much time can be saved with fewer tooling changes. Even path optimisation belongs to the strengths of eluCad: The programme calculates the shortest pathway between processing points. In all processing steps, the programme avoids unnecessary re-clamping of a profile rod, a pre-requisite for time-efficient fabrication. A 3D program is integrated in EluCad that displays the designed parts in 3D. These 3-dimensional displayed parts can be turned, reduced in size or zoomed in on – just like the observer wants. In the 3D model the position of the X, Y and Z axes are also shown; this supports the ability to visualise and makes the data entry easier. Included in EluCad functions is collision control – for this the software calculates if machine parts or clamping elements are in the movement path of the machine. This prevents expensive machine crashes and downtimes. If a part to be manufactured is correctly programmed, thanks to eluCad it can be manufactured quickly with the same quality on a selected machine in the company’s machine shop. A business can also quickly process high volume production jobs. If the machine operator masters the software used in daily work, they can work fast and achieve good work results. Modern profile machining centres, for example the elumatec machines, can accomplish a lot if the machine operator is able to program the specifications accordingly. With an eluCad training by us the best pre-requisites have been established. Software maintenance contract provides numerous advantages We offer a software maintenance contract for eluCad programming software. This maintenance contract authorises the customer during its period of validity to use updates immediately. Updates are reactions to market or customer requests and thus help the eluCad users to use their profile machining centres even more effectively, in order to work faster, more precisely, safer and simpler. In addition the software maintenance contract offers further advantages:
Recently elusoft expanded the services of the software maintenance contract. Customers with this contract have the additional follwoing advantages (in german language):
The software maintenance contract is calculated as a yearly fee and authorises the customer during that period the use of the current version. The offer is valid for the main license at the programming locations as well as possible sub-licenses at other programming locations. Customers can continually keep their programming software current with new updates. |

The SBZ 130 is a 3-axis processing centre for economical processing of aluminium, stainless steel and steel profiles. All work processes, such as drilling, milling, or thread cutting are carried out on a static profile rod: This also protects sensitive profile surfaces from scratches and damage. The travelling turret on the SBZ 130 can be fitted with 8 tools or angle milling heads. Two separated work zones allow processing in shuttle operation.
