A customer from the photovoltaic branch offers solar energy systems for slanted roofs, free areas, carports, flat roofs or facades. The system components made of aluminium required for base frame will be produced int he future with an SBZ 151 and eluCad programming software.

The photovoltaic assembly system of the customer is a modular system with universally applicable high quality components made of aluminium and stainless steel. The modules can be installed at almost any type of assembly situation.

All required profile machining can be implemented fast and precisely with the SBZ 151 and eluCad. The machine concept of the SBZ 151 enables sawing and machining in one clamping. Profile bars cam be machined from all 6 sides without reclamping – with the optionally available angle head, even from below. Face machining of the clamped parts is also possible.

Even small parts can be manufactures fast and precisely on the SBZ 151 with eluCad programming software. There are various operating modes with the so-called software cycles: The machined and sawed small parts either fall in the machine bed or are pushed onto a plate. This manufacturing process of small parts must not be monitored by the machine operator.

Individual layouts simplify the data input

Numerous innovations in the current programme version eluCad 2.0 make the programming software even more user friendly. The programmer can layout many views individually and match it to what is needed. For example, the start screen is now even more clear: it shows the tree structure, the table with the machining for the selected part and the profile cross section.

Many windows can be moved with drag & drop – even to an external monitor.

The switch size of the buttons can be changed to the taste of the user.

In eluCad 2.0 machining can be compiled into one group and saved as a macro. Undone actions can be restored. One new function is that the drill tip correction for threads can be switched off. The depth table is automatically adapted to in eluCad 2.0. For 5-axis machines, which have a saw blade as a tool, the saw cut assistant can be edited. Every saw cut can now be easily changed.

eluCad 2.0 allows the clamp, which hold the profile bars, to be machined even easier. Previously a number value had to be entered during the chuck movement. Now the chuck elements can be moved by a so-called "picking". In the 3 D view a position is clicked on - the chuck is moved to there.

In the table with the machining, several machining processes can be changed simultaneously. It is possible to copy values into another column – as a matter of fact very simply with the drag & drop function. Using a button, alternatives for the dimensional unit (mm or inch) and coordinate system (eluCad or NC-X) can now be selected very easily. Even the target machine can be quickly changed in an opening window, in case the company has a correspondingly large machine park.
