Schüco XML-PBZ Interface PDF Print E-mail
Wednesday, 27 January 2010 16:28

as announced earlier, Schüco does not support any more the connection for non-Schüco machining center. The new release comes without this interface. Non-Schüco machining centers are for example the elumatec SBZs. The new interface files look similar, have the same extension .xml but

totally different content.

Before this release the xml-files carried the information for each single operation and now the actual interface does only give generic macro names. Schüco decided to do other machining centers with a 3rd party software from UniLink, a belgium company. See the contact data here:

UniLink has already connected a couple of elumatec machining centers and uses the NC-X Format (www.nc-x.com) which is already licenced by all elumatec customer having the option Schüco-XML-Import. elusoft did a preprocessing to convert the proprietary Schüco XML-File into the NC-X Format und used this standard interface to deliver operations to elucad. Luckily our customers do not have to buy any additional interface due to this change in Schüco's strategy.

We do not know if Schüco delivers a UniLink version to all their registered non-Schüco machining customers. Please contact your Schüco dealer.
